I've been dancing since I was still a kid. I have traditional dance as my basic, and along the way, I learned about modern dance as well. If I had to choose, I'd choose contemporary dance, where both traditional and modern dance is combined. If you were to ask me if dancing is difficult or not, I'd say no. Nothing is ever difficult if you want to try. The word 'try' is really important if you want to learn about dancing. Any kind of dance. Because from what I learn, dancing takes all your energy and focus. You have to be professional for yourself. If the guts of learning doesn't come from you, I don't think dancing is going to be easy. I really want to say that dancing is not for the weak. But maybe that's just my point of view. I'm a perfectionist myself, so most of the time when I get a new move, I work really hard to make sure I do it right. And that's the beauty in dancing. Especially when you dance in group. The photos here were taken at one of my university's art event where each art group from each social faculty presents their best performance; and I was a part of it, so I'm really honored. I was dancing with three of my seniors who have been dancing for numerous times, so the pressure was quite high because I had to keep up with their speed, tempo, power, and not to mention the harmony of the dance itself.
At first I was dancing to lose some weight, because I think it's the only sport I enjoy doing that really burns my energy. But after several public performance dancing for my art group, I learn that dancing is so much more than that; so much more than losing some of your weight. It's a way of expressing yourself. Like dressing up, the way you dance can say so much about you. So dance well.
What about you? What do you enjoy doing to express yourself? :)
Wow! Finally, the sleepless nights for the last one week are finally OVER! I am so glad that it's over already. Not that I hate the process, but really, I have a very weak metabolism and I get sick easily. The last one week was such a tough one because I didn't get to sleep in my own guest house because I always came home after curfew and the gates would have been locked by then. So I had to stay at my friend's guest house instead and went to classes straight from there. It was such a tiring routines but it wasn't like I had any other option. This is my second time playing and acting on the stage again after my first ever play on September 2014. I won't say that I'm addicted with theater, because if you ask me, I still can't overcome that 'stage fever' problem. Even though many said that I did really good in this play, I'm still not confident enough to actually play for another one in the future, haha. I'm gonna bomb this post with a lot of photos, so don't tell me I didn't warn you.

I would like to thank everyone—the actors, the director, the assistant directors, the staffs, and make-up artists. You guys totally rock the play! It wouldn't be the same without your hard work. And I know that even though there are so many things that still needed to be fixed here, make sure we have a room for improvement. I totally enjoy the process practicing with the actors. With my friends. I gain new knowledge and I had so much fun. I didn't regret anything. And I hope we can continue playing on the same stage. Maybe one day later, when all of us have become the professionals?
Have a nice Sunday! xx

Let's not dwell over the title of this post.
Everyone who knows me in real life knows well that I don't like wearing make-up. Even being a 19 years old teenage girl, I don't know which lipstick shade suits me best, what I have to do with my brows, or how to make shading on my cheeks. Being the only daughter in the family, I spend most of the days playing with my two brothers with their game and activities. That's probably why I have zero knowledge about make-up. And when I told you I never wear make-up, I'm telling the truth. I always think that make-up leaves acne on my face. And I feel weird with my make-up on. But ever since I started playing for my college's theater, getting my face touched up with heavy make-up becomes my regular thing. I'm still amazed with how make-up affects our look. Just like this one. I posted this photo on my LINE and everyone who didn't know it was all done for the sake of theater play said that I look so much older. But that's the point! The make-up is aimed to make me look older because in the script I'm a 31 years old woman. It does feel weird at first. But I managed to maintain the make-up until the end of the rehearsal yesterday. Usually they're gone five minutes after being applied :p
PS: Sorry for the low quality of the selfie tho. They're taken using iPhone.

Ever since I joined Sanggar, my love for theater grew fonder than ever. Especially because I was given the chance to play once on the stage to experience how it feels to become someone that we're not. But since I have quite a terrible stage fever, most of the time I back away from the offers to play for once again. I love working at the backstage. Even though I know nothing beats the sensational feelings of acting on the stage. I remember working under the same production with this man. It was our first ever theater, and now that he just had another successful play, makes me jealous because he has improved, a lot! I wonder where did he get all the guts to play for another script. It was so amazing, the story and all the actors, very well-played. Congratulation bae for the amazing play, I'm such a proud friend! x
This is Gabuters (aka Scum Loud). A small peer group led by Eri (the huge man at the center back) who has too much free time LOL, consists of Oscar, Eri himself, Dharma, Aldo, me, and Caesar. There's supposed to be one more girl, Keiy but she couldn't make it last night because of something else. Gabuters don't really have anything to do, and we hang out a lot spending our parents' money just to explore the city of Jogja, ha! But it's always worth it to spend my time with them. I get to know a lot of cool places thank's to Eri's amazing leadership. Even if he doesn't really lead us because really, we just randomly go anywhere.
