Udah lama banget rasanya nggak nulis tentang fashion. Dulu memang fashion blogger tuh menjamur banget. Hampir semua orang punya blog dan isinya pasti tentang fashion. Mau perempuan ataupun laki-laki. Fashionnya pun beragam, keren banget!
Akhirnya aku bikinlah blog, karena dari dulu juga aku udah suka banget nulis dan seneng aja sama the idea of having my own personal space on the internet yang bisa kuisi dengan hal-hal yang aku suka. Sebetulnya sih fashion bukan speciality aku, aku nggak pernah merasa fashionable, tapi aku suka lihat orang lain dandan.

Kayak fashion blogger Diana Rikasari, tapi aku versi nggak nyambung banget. Tapi makin ke sini makin seneng tampil dengan outfit monokrom, terutama all-black karena warna hitam selalu cocok dipadupadankan sama warna lainnya dan bikin aku kelihatan kurus haha.

Oh iya, sekalian mau ngepost juga detail make-up nya. Kemarin dandanku buru-buru banget, jadi nggak sempat pakai eyeshadow macem-macem. Cuma pakai bronzer buat jadi eye contour hehe. Aku juga nggak pakai concealer karena lagi nggak mau terlalu kelihatan polos, biar tetap kelihatan ada warnanya aja muka. Di sini aku pakai:

- Primer: Studio Tropik Original Priming Water
- Foundation: Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation (Desert Beige)
- Powder: Pixy Make It Glow Silky Powdery Cake (301 Medium Beige)
- Bronzer: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer (Deep Bronzer)
- Blush: Make Over Multifix Matte Blusher (01 Rose Hour) & Emina Cheeklit Pressed Powder (Marshmallow Lady)
- Highlighter: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Opal)
- Eyeshadow: Focallure x Tasya Farasya The Needs Face Palette (bronzer shade Cream)
- Brows: Innisfree Auto Eyebrow Pencil (Black) & Make Over Brow Definer Mascara (True Black)
- Lipstick: Maybelline Liquid Matte Sensational (11 Made Easy)
- Setting spray: Catrice Prime & Fine Multitalent Fixing Spray
Oke deh, segitu dulu aja postingan hari ini. Mungkin nggak bakal bisa sesering ngomongin soal product review, tapi sesekali boleh lah ya ngepost OOTD. Thank's for reading!

No, I haven't watched the TV series because I don't have a Netflix account even though I'm dying to watch the series :( So boohoo, sorry for letting you down. It's been a while since the last time I talk about real, personal stuff on the blog. So for today's post, I'm going to talk about the overrated word; love. Just because recently it's been circulating around my life.
I have only been in a relationship twice, and I'm currently in my second one. But I have fallen in love with so many guys, don't get me wrong. If you're an old followers of mine, you must have seen my break-up post somewhere on the blog. My first relationship ended by the end of 2016 because my ex cheated on me with my junior in university. And though it hurts so bad, I managed to keep myself together with the help of supportive friends. I don't always talk about my relationship with my family aside from the usual basic questions about my boyfriend, so my parents didn't know anything, of course. But they knew I was no longer with my ex. They just never ask why.
Okay they kinda did, but I never explained why because it's a waste of energy and time.
A friend of mine asked me few months ago if I had forgiven my ex. The answer is no. It's not even the fact that I'm in a relationship again now, but I ain't gonna give forgiveness for people who don't even seek for it. It's not hatred, but rather an empty feelings where I pretend like he doesn't exist. I tried so hard to have a big heart, to forgive him even when he's unforgivable but it is just impossible. And I don't mind having to keep it that way, because we're worlds apart and we just don't need each other. So cutting off his presence is a piece of cake. Because we didn't develop any kind of relationship other than being past lover. We weren't even classmates or he was ever in my circle, no nothing. So when we ended, everything just did.
And then I question myself; have I always been this merciless? But then NO. Hahaha. Because he didn't ask for it, and he's done terrible things to me even after we broke up and he already with someone else, yet he still pulled on my heartstrings. Have I moved on? Yes I have. But that doesn't change the fact that he never asked for my forgiveness. Thankfully everyone hates him and thinks that he's a waste of society. So I had nothing to lose.
Afterall, I expect nothing more than someone who dumped me through LINE chat. Couldn't even look me in the eye, what a coward.
Let's move on to another guy, shall we?
This guy's just... has his own place in my brain. Because it's where I keep all of my memories. The heart is a sole throne for my partner, no question to that. Up until now, we're still best friends. We're in the same circle of friends so to cut him off the radar would be a little problematic. We still hang out, we sometimes talk to each other about our love-life problem, etc. All in all, we established a different kind of relationship that is so much better than just ex-love interest. We never got together officially but we were pretty close. I don't know about him but I did have feelings for him.
We didn't work out because, we hold different beliefs. It just wouldn't work out, no matter how much we tried. But he's a good guy which is why it's easier to develop a friendlier relationship with him. I learned a lot of things from him and our past story helped me to grow as a person.
And then here comes the guy. That one guy who truly taught me that love knows no bound and doesn't always have to be expressed as a status. I guess that was the first time I ever fell in love so hard with a man. He was a friend that I met from my course place. I came to the class every single day just to see him and he was the one who motivated me to get into UGM. In which I did. So everything that I am today, I owe it to him.
We never got together because I never told him how I felt. I was afraid I would ruin our friendship if I did tell him, so I just stayed quiet. During that time I learnt how to truly love a person for all that he was without expecting anything in return.
I want to thank you to all the boys I've loved before, because all the experience and feelings I had for them in the past shaped me into who I am today. Even though I'm still far from the perfect partner, but I'm willing to grow. And I'm forever grateful that my current partner is someone who helps me to be a better person. I've never been with someone who wants me as much as I want them. Yes, we fight. Yes, we scream at the top of our lungs. Yes, we still hurt each other. But we never forget to come back. I'm working on my communication issue because I believe that has been one of my biggest downfall. Thankfully my partner never fails to help me to improve.
Well, I guess that's all for today. I know it's kind of a heavy talk (or not? Haha) but I wanna welcome some of my new followers today so I figure why not start with something personal. I hope you enjoy today's post, I feel good to finally be able to post outfit posts again. Hopefully I can post more of something like this. It's a little hard to do since I don't do a lot of shopping for clothes because as you guess it, most of my money now goes for make-up and skincare lol.
Thank you so much for reading and see you guys on another post!
BONUS PHOTOS!

Ever since I religiously started to transform my blog into a sort of beauty blog with all the product reviews, I forgot that I also have other things to talk about, something that I've been doing in such a long time. I actually miss doing cafe hopping like I used to, but since I spend almost all of my money for my beauty necessities, I have nothing left for cafe hopping, or simply to do quick travel with my boyfriend. This trip was taken a few weeks ago after I got back from Bali, I guess. I promise I'll start working on that post too. It's just that I still don't know if I want to do the Bali posts based on the places or the days only.
Anyway, have you guys been to Tebing Breksi? This was my second trip already, but the first time I went here, I didn't get to hike all the way up to the top of the cliff because it was raining and the cliff became very slippery. The view was really beautiful, you can see the Merapi mountain in all its glory.
Pretty isn't it?

I was a little upset looking at how many owls here being treated as recreational object for visitors to take photos with them. I was worried because all those birds had to stay awake during day time where as we know it, owls are nocturnal, meaning they sleep during day time and awake at night.
I decided to name this entire look as 'a rolling nastar', credits to my junior in college who calls me that name after I poster one of these photos on my Instagram Stories lol. Of course, there's no reason to get butthurt with the little name because actually, the color of my kaftan kinda resembles nastar indeed. Do you guys know nastar? It's one of those cookies they bake and put on display during lebaran because it's a staple lebaran cookies, I guess? I'm not a big fan of nastar msyelf because they're just too dry and too crumbly and I just don't like it. I've been very lazy lately doing blog walking because I've been obsessed spending too much time in front of my brother's computer playing Dota 2 this entire holiday. But I realize this post has to be posted before June ends because why would I post something that screams lebaran way way after the event has passed. Oh can we all appreciate how my make-up looks so flawless here lol I know that sounds so self-proclaimed but damn, now that I'm used to look at myself in the mirror with make-up, my no make-up look is so horrible pft. I can't believe I used to look like crap on public.
So since I arrived at home just a week before lebaran took place, I didn't really have much time to shop for any lebaran clothes. I was gonna search down the internet of this year's trend, if kaftan is still on the market or they just switch it up with something more elegant but I couldn't find any. You guys know that I'm not a fan of long sleeve clothes because they just accentuate the flabby fat in my arms, right? So kaftan is always a good choice because the bat-wing gives a nice drappery effect that makes the entire look has multiple layers when in fact we only wear one layer of clothes. I also cut my hair pretty short because I got bored with my usual medium long hair and it started growing all over the place so what better way to appear fresh and new in lebaran? For the make-up itself, I just went for a really simple and orange look to complement the color of my kaftan.
Let's all give a round of applause for my little brother because he took all of these photos of me by himself. I'm low-key very impressed because he knows I like symmetrical photos and so he effortlessly achieved that. So, that's it for today, I hope you enjoy this quick post about my lebaran look. I haven't really posted anything fashion-related in such a long time, almost 6 months! I'm sorry, because I haven't shopped any new clothes recently, taking photos for OOTD takes a lot of time and preparation as well. I've spent all of my money on make-up now because it's fun to play with and I just love doing reviews, sharing thoughts about certain products instead of just posting pictures and telling stories. But, you know, I'm very versatile about what I post on the blog. Just leave a comment below if you'd like to see something or if you have any new ideas for my blog. I'd love to hear!
Thank you so much for reading and see you on the next post! xo

Ruby dress, Zalora platforms
I'm sorry that I've been going MIA for the past few weeks because I'm still adjusting to going back to campus for my hopefully last year of university. However I managed to have some fun with my friends during the orientation days to dress up in bohemian to welcome the new students, it's one of the many things that we, law students do, when we're not studying. Despite the oh-so-very annoying appearance of my ex and his girlfriend (um, ew? lol) which kinda surprised the rest of us because nobody really wanted them there but hey, there's a reason why pests are called pests *shrugs*. Anyway, once the theme was announced, I couldn't really think of anything bohemian aside from sabrina tops, flare pants, tapestry garments tied around the waist, or anything that screams Coachella. But since this is to be worn inside the campus area, I don't think wearing something that flaunts the skin too much is allowed... Remember that less is always more. And since I didn't have anything to wear, either because I wanted to wear something that my friends have never seen before, or because I had no bohemian-themed clothes at all, me and my friends rushed to this store called Rubylicious in Kotabaru to grab some new clothes (+ chokker for me and Dio, ha!). All of their clothes are really affordable and cute and in great quality too! I spent around 100k only for the dress + the chokker.

Anyway I've been thinking lately, about how I think that I always stand on the right side of the community. I mean, I'm never alone, I'm always with the more positive side with the right people, I'm never in the side of community where we beg people to talk behind our back (even though I realize there ARE people like that but at least the amount of people are not the same compared to the wrong side of the community). Everytime I look at my ex walking by with his girlfriend, I'm so glad. Because turns out, everyone, literally, e v e r y o n e is talking about how disgusting they are, both as an individual or as a couple. I never intend to make people to take sides but when they ask me and hear my story, they start taking sides naturally. And I'm friends with my ex's girlfriend's friends, and everytime we hang out together, they're always talking about my ex and his girlfriend, of how horribly disgusting they could be and how no one actually wants them here. And at that time, I feel somewhat relieved. I know I shouldn't, but it feels so good knowing that I'm not the only one who sees the negative in them. What's even worse is when I know that this friend puts fake masks in front of my ex's girlfriend to act nice and all when I know the truth that behind it, she's shitting about her. But that's not my problem. I feel bad, for being the thorn in the flesh. But I can't help but to feel satisfied when I see her alone, not knowing what to do because apparently, no one wants to be friend her. Well, who wants to have a friend like her?

Okay, enough the talk of me being the supervillain that I've always been, I just need to let the thought out. School has just started last Monday which is why I haven't been able to post anything even when I have a lot of materials to be posted. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this Sunday because duh, Prambanan Jazz, anyone??? Whoop whoop! So excited to be able to watch Kahitna and Yovie & Nuno on stage, live! Well, gotta go back watching more Masterchef season now. Talk to you soon! xx

I'm a very competitive person. I see everything as a competition for me. I'm easily driven and I don't take loss very well. That's why I hate playing games where the competition is too high and I know I'm not gonna win many, because I don't like to lose. On one side, I think it's a good metaphor because I always strive to be number one. But on the other side, it's giving me burden. Just like when my ex decided to leave me for some girl I know, I start comparing myself to her. Being a snob that I am, I point out that I'm still way better than her, in my very own perspective. But of course it doesn't matter because even when I do feel that way, my ex has left me for her. As I've told you before, I don't take loss very well. It should have ended right away, but it didn't. I started competing with her in many aspects. From the way we dress, the way we do our make-up, the way we post photos on Instagram, the way we speak and how we put our bio on our social media. I'm so burdened with this imaginary competition. Because it's tiring. You know that kind of feeling, don't you? I want to stop, to not caring at all even if I'm not doing any better than her because that's totally okay. But I'd feel so low if I let go of this winning in her hand. It shouldn't be a competition at all. I should not compete with another person for love.
On the good note, I have learned a lot of things from this 'competition'. If you're a long time reader of my blog, you must have noticed the difference between my old outfit posts with my recent ones. Yes, now I do make-up even when I only do it for blog purpose. I like to confide that part very much because that's the most visible change that happens to me. This competition should end whether I want it or not. Because it's not healthy, it's not giving me anything in return, and it doesn't prove anything. I still have a long way to go to be a better person than before.
Oh, and, the title is inspired by my ex's best friend's advice. I asked him once about what was I supposed to do during my break up, when he started dating another girl yet we still kissed in the back seat like lovers that we were. And he said I need to stop, to give the two of us a breather. Even when it sucks to be dumped, but I need to see myself first. I need to rest from this long war. I've been fighting alone and I need to take a break. I need to see myself first.
As I've told you in my previous outfit post, I start loving dresses because they bring out the girly side of me. To balance out everything, I put on my sneakers instead of my usual platform shoes because nothing can go wrong when you pair dresses and sneakers, they're like match made in heaven. I'll be going back to Jogja next week, hopefully in a way better mood because I'm so bored with the city now. I can't wait to graduate and leave Jogja, to find a new story I can be proud of in another city.
'Til then, have a pleasant day! xx

I'm sooo happy to be able to post proper outfit post again! :D It's been 17 billion ages since the last time I actually stood up in front of a wall, dressing up and setting timer on my DSLR and took head-to-toe photos. It feels good to be back on track! I'm still in Bekasi, enjoying every last bit of my soon going to an end holiday :( I'm in my final year now and expected to graduate around June next year omg. Time flies so fast! I can't believe three years ago I had just graduated from high school, doing placement tests etc to get into university, I was so thrilled to start experiencing one of the best phase of my life. And here I am now, trying (not so) hard not to run away from all my responsibilities.
Being in early 20s (I'm 21 now, remember?) means a lot to me. It's becoming a burden now that I still haven't figured out of what I'm going to do with my life later after I graduate. Which probably that's one of the biggest reason why I don't think graduating soon is a good choice. Almost all of my friends have at least one experience of working in the real law industry, and almost all of them too have participated in more than one law competition. Unlike me, who, apparently, gave all of my time just for my art group. I mean I can't lie that even after being a law student, I'm still an artist at heart. I like to perform, I like to create things, and it helps to ease my mind when university life is becoming a pain in the ass. Which happens most of the time :/ If they were to graduate soon, they already had long plan ahead of what they were going to do next. Again, unlike me, who probably will go 180 degree different from the rest of my friends. I keep telling myself that it's totally okay to go the other way where the place is not so crowded. Going different way is good, as long as I'm ready and quick to adapt because now I understand how fast life can be.

Updates on the love department; nothing has come up. I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing. It maybe both. My view on the word 'love' has totally changed the moment I read my friend's writings about it. That love is just a chemical reaction. And when I see it not being something that is uncontrollable by me, rather it's something science and of course can be controlled, falling in and out of love seems very ordinary. I don't know what's the fuss is all about and we need to stop making love as an issue although I admit that it's one of the biggest emotion that often drives our artistic part. Because I myself, write poem and other stories based on my view on love. But in real life, it's getting too overrated that I'm getting sick of everyone talking about love and love and love. It only takes one bad, nasty break up to get me traumatized of being in a relationship because everything can go wrong in building a relationship. Despite being madly in love now (and he doesn't even know it yet), I really don't force myself to be with him. Or find a way to make us together. A friend of mine asked me the reason why I don't chase him like a hungry hyena. It's simply because I don't have to date him to tell him that I love him and care for him. Right? If I really loved him, I would let him grow, be there for him when he needed me, cheered for him during his best moments, and be sad over his failures and loss. I have learned to emphasize myself in my own life, to stop giving room for other people to be in charge of my own happiness. And as a friendly note, you should do this too! It will give your life a whole lot better meaning! :)
So before we part, let's talk about this outfit! I used to hate going somewhere in skirts because somehow I feel like it's not liberating me from my excessive movements; like running and jumping around because I love to chase my friends jokingly. And I used to label myself as this tomboy girl who would swallow poison before I put those dresses and skirt on! >:( But as the years gone by, I grow up and explore new style. I fall in and out of fashion trends, and find my own signature style, the style that makes me comfortable and boosts my confidence. Surprisingly enough, dresses and skirts are one of my signature style ensemble! :D Nowadays I feel so nice walking in one, dressed up in one. I guess that's the magic of clothing, when I wear pants, I feel free. When I wear skirts, I feel pretty! It's not something that's better than the other kind of style, just something that now I can go with without that grudge feeling lmao. Also if you haven't really noticed, I'm wearing a super short shorts too and it's visible here. That's why I love this dress so much! It's combining two of a different style. Sadly such clothing can't be worn around campus because who allows their student to show off that much skin anyway???
