Wow, review produk ini terlambat banget ditulisnya haha. Corine de Farme Purity Micellar Water ini adalah salah satu produk yang sebetulnya lumayan menyimpan sentimen tersendiri buatku karena aku dapat dia lewat SOCOBOX buat pertama kalinya. Sebelumnya aku nggak terlalu familiar sama brand Corine de Farme sendiri, aku pikir malah tadinya ini belum masuk Guardian atau Watson gitu. Tapi ternyata udah haha. Corine de Farme punya banyak banget produk skincare, dan salah satunya adalah micellar water.

Buat yang belum tahu, Corine de Farme ini brand asal Perancis, banyak yang bilang mereka itu dupe dari Bioderma. Well, buat kantongku sendiri sih Corine de Farme ini masih termasuk pricy, makanya kalau bukan karena dapat gratis dari SOCOBOX pasti nggak akan nyobain untuk sekarang haha. Dari segi tekstur dia cair banget persis air, dan wanginya surprisingly enak banget. Nggak mengganggu, dan lembut gitu. Produknya itu sendiri punya klaim kalau selain bantu mengangkat kotoran, juga bisa sekaligus melembabkan kulit, karena kita tahu kan kebanyakan micellar water memang suka bikin kulit jadi terasa kesat dan kering.
Banyak yang bilang micellar water-nya Corine de Farme itu bagus, dan setelah aku coba sendiri ternyataaa... nggak banget :( Entah ya, waktu aku coba bersihkan beberapa produk make-up ku, dia nggak bisa ngangkat liquid lipstick dan maskara yang notabenenya memang lebih butuh effort buat dibersihkan. Tapi bahkan dengan diusap berkali kali juga nggak bisa bersih. Aku sampai bingung apa dong gunanya kalau buat angkat make-up aja dia nggak sanggup. Entah apa yang salah, tapi ya aku beruntung aja nggak langsung dapat yang ukuran besar karena pasti nggak akan kepakai.
Kalau ditanya apa tahapan dalam skincare yang paling aku suka, jawabannya adalah: CLEANSING! Baik itu membersihkan muka setelah seharian pakai make-up, atau sekedar double cleansing buat menghilangkan bekas sunscreen dari pagi hari, cleansing rasanya selalu bikin senang aja karena tahu kalau sebentar lagi kulitku akan segera bersih dari segala kotoran.
Ngomongin soal tahapan cleansing, setiap hari aku selalu double cleansing di sore hari. Karena kulitku berminyak, jadi debu dan kotoran lebih cepat numpuk di kulit. Kalau nggak double cleansing, pasti setelahnya aku jerawatan. Nah kali ini aku mau ngomongin soal produk first cleanser yang baru-baru ini aku cobain dari SNP, yakni SNP LAB+ Triple Water One Step Cleansing Water. Yes, dia bukan micellar water, tapi cleansing water. Memangnya beda?
Dikutip langsung dari websitenya SNP, kalau micellar water itu hanya diinfusi dengan misel, maka berbeda dengan cleansing water. Cleasing water adalah air yang telah dipurifikasi dan ditambahkan bahan pembersih di dalamnya. Selain menggunakan air yang sudah dipurifikasi, cleansing water biasanya ditambahkan dengan bahan-bahan lain, seperti essential oil, ekstrak buah, atau beberapa jenis mineral yang dapat membantu menyeimbangkan kandungan pada kulit wajah kita, seperti toner. Cleansing water itu memiliki manfaat lebih apabila dibandingkan dengan micellar water yang fungsinya lebih terfokus pada pembersihan. Namun, cleansing water juga merupakan pembersih yang efektif, dan bekerja maksimal untuk mengencangkan kulit kamu secara bersamaan.

Jadi kenapa namanya "Triple Water One Step Cleansing" adalah karena di dalam cleansing water ini ada tiga kandungan utama yakni Canadian glacier water, Hawaii deep sea water, dan Italian sparkling water yang berfungsi untuk membersihkan sekaligus melembabkan kulit secara bersamaan. Selain itu ada juga kandungan tumbuh-tumbuhan seperti witch hazel, basil, sage, lavender, chamomile, rosemary, mint, dan lonicera japonica yang berfungsi untuk menenangkan kulit dan merawat minyak berlebih. Jadi untuk kalian yang punya kulit berminyak seperti aku, cleansing water ini mungkin bisa jadi pertimbangan untuk pilihan first cleanser!

Sudah beberapa minggu terakhir ini aku pakai produk ini buat jadi first cleanser dan sejujurnya aku suka banget! Kalau pakai micellar water, biasanya aku pakai yang ada kandungan minyaknya supaya bisa angkat make-up waterproof dan bisa melembabkan juga. Tapi micellar water dengan minyak ujung-ujungnya bikin kulit jadi pliket. Aku sudah coba membersihkan segala jenis make-up dengan formula yang berbeda-beda dan hasilnya ternyata cleansing water ini bisa membersihkan bahkan make-up waterproof sekalipun! Aku takjub banget karena performanya jauh lebih bagus ketimbang micellar water biasa.

Di tanganku itu aku swatch ada foundation, maskara, lip stain, lip cream, eyeliner, bahkan si Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink yang udah terkenal susah banget dibersihkan, dengan sedikit usaha aja bisa bersih lho! Yang agak susah nggak benar-benar bersih sih cuma lip stain, tapi ya namanya lip stain, memang bakal ninggalin bekas. Selain itu cleansing water ini juga wanginya enak banget. Wangi parfum yang soft gitu lho. Dan teksturnya super duper ringan, nggak langsung bikin kering di muka.
Overall, produk ini bakal aku rekomendasikan buat kalian yang selama ini selalu merasa nggak cocok sama micellar water karena suka bikin kering di kulit. Selain bisa mengangkat kotoran, dia juga oke untuk bantu mengangkat sel kulit mati sehingga bisa sekaligus mencerahkan wajah.

I probably have never shared this on the blog, neither on any of my social media about my beauty routine especially when it comes to rubbing off the make-up off of my face. But I have always been an avid fan of Pixy's make-up remover that doubles the work as a toner. Although I have an issue with it because it gets stingy and leaves a burning sensation on my face on some occasion, I still held on it very dearly. I used to use the blue one, and then I changed it with the green one that's more focused for acne-prone skin. But still, the problem with the burning sensation sets me off. Since I don't wear heavy make-up on a daily basis (and because I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning my face post make-up), Pixy became a staple for my make-up routine. Most people use milk cleanser before toner and I guess that's the best way to go? Considering the milk and the toner will deep cleanse your face. But as I've said before, I'm lazy. Thus the reason why I chose Pixy's make-up remover because they offer one-step-for-all kind of toner.
Micellar water starts becoming so hyped quickly here in Indonesia because it claims to be stronger than any make-up remover, and the best part is they're alcohol-free. I don't really find any other issue with Pixy and I don't like trying new things when I'm already comfortable in certain products :p I wasn't even planning to try any micellar water because it's more expensive than non micellar water make-up remover (have you seen Bioderma's micellar water? Gosh). But I'm dying to see what it actually does because I gotta be honest, I don't like to cake my face with a lot of make-up, which is why I have to make sure I have a healthy and glowing skin to minimize the usage of make-up. The number one brand that comes to my mind when it comes to micellar water is definitely Garnier. It's basically everywhere. So I went to Mutiara and got myself the blue one, for oily and acne-prone skin even though I have combination skin that tends to get oily on the T-zone and dry on the rest of my face. But it's better to watch out for any possibilities of breakouts than to cry myself in regret. And so, I chose the blue one!
Today I didn't wear any make-up except for the brows since I wasn't feeling good this morning and decided that I'd go to class with bare face... with brows lol. I didn't even put any lipstick or powder on because I'm that ill :( Usually when I use Pixy to remove my brows, I will waste both sides of the cotton pad just for the brows only, and I will have to waste another two cotton pads to wipe off any dirt or oil on the rest of my face. But with the micellar water? Honey I don't even have to rub my face to hell like I always do! Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water definitely does what it claims to be, with gentle swipe, your make-up will be gone. I haven't tested it on water-proof or smudge-proof make-up but I have high hopes that it'll do just the same! I am definitely digging for this and I will repurchase. I have yet to see how my skin will react to the micellar water because some of my friends say it causes breakouts but I believe that everybody's skin has their own needs and so far, it doesn't leave any burning sensation on my face. Oh and, it actually doesn't smell of anything unlike Pixy, which is a plus point because I have sensitive nose.
All in all, I'll give this micellar water 8/10. It's not that pricey, I guess. I bought it at Mutiara's offline store for IDR 27.000 only which is pretty cool because sometimes other seller sells it for IDR 30.000. It's cheaper on their Shopee account but you have to pay for the shipping fee as well so yeah. Well, I hope my review helps you out!
